-entrance to a portal dream-

I found myself walking down a dark hallway. "They told me to take the next left." I said to myself quietly. I was starting to get a little frightened by it all. Soon, I came to a set of stairs. "Whatever." I said, as I continued my journey. Once I placed my foot on the top step, I saw a light coming from a half-opened door. I quickly ran up toward it. "Room 206." I said to myself. I peaked inside, and was happy to see quite a few people. I had found the room. As I walked in, no one turned to look at me, nor did they even know I was there. They were all standing and talking to each other, holding glasses of some kind of drinks. Their talking was so low, you could barely hear them. As I turned my head, I saw another door, which entered into a smaller room. I soon found myself walking through the door. Right then, I saw him. Never before had something so powerful hit me so hard in that way. He then smiled at me. He saw me. No one else in the room did. I soon noticed that no one really knew he was in the room either. After a few moments of standing at the door, he made his way over to me.

"Taylor." He said, as he slowly reached out his hand towards mine.

"Alexandra." I replied back to him, as I shook his hand. We smiled at each other of a moment, and then soon we noticed that all the people in the room had slowly disappeared.

"Do you know whats going on here?" I asked him nicely. He looked around the room, and shook his head. This was confusing. Right then, the room grew darker, and soon, I couldnt see him anymore. I called out his name, but he didnt answer. I felt like crying. I had found him, and then lost him so quickly. Soon, I felt someone touch my shoulder. I turned my head, and opened my eyes.

"Alexandra, you have to wake up now." My mother said to me, as she then got up from my bedside, and exited the room. I was confused. Was that a dream? What does it all mean? These and more questions stayed with me for that whole day, and I couldnt stop thinking about the name Taylor. His face was a constant picture in my mind.

Two days later...

"Honey, someone is at the door can you go and answer it for me??" My father asked, as he sat by the fireplace reading the newspaper. He had been reading it to me earlier, but I had to stop that. I was also sitting down by the fire, thinking about the dream. "Sure dad." I said, as I got up, and walked slowly to the door. I tried to see who it was, but it was too dark outside to tell. As I opened the door, I was hit by the same feeling again.

"Taylor." He said, as he slowly reached his hand towards mine.

"Alexandra." I replied softly, as I set my hand in his, and shook his hand...
